Being a boutique industrial laundry, Laundry Matic does not focus on just maximizing its processing capacity. Mass processing does not give the time, attention and dedication required to provide premium results. Laundry Matic tries to focus purely on each and every customer with the right amount of care and attention. This personalized service is what differentiates Laundry Matic from the crowd.
The Laundry Group launched Laundry Matic in mid 2011 in an attempt to unite the Group’s processing operation under one industrial roof. Since the start of operations in 2007, the Group’s retail shops had gained a significant amount of processing load that was no longer manageable using on-premise machines. During that time, the Group had also managed to secure approximately 21 corporate contracts ranging from hotels, hotel apartments, gyms and other retail laundries that did not have processing capabilities. After months of thorough market research and analysis with various industry experts, The Laundry Group signed a lease agreement to begin implementation and fit-out of Laundry Matic in Dubai Investments Park. The area was specifically chosen due to its proximity to the high density residential, commercial and leisure areas of Dubai that are increasing in popularity.
The aim was to create a boutique industrial laundry facility that would provide professional laundry and dry cleaning services to a wide range of retail and corporate clients. The Group decided to limit the capacity and focus more on providing a personalized touch on the products and services offered to all customer types. The machines and equipment were carefully chosen such that only the best, most efficient and environmentally friendly machines were acquired. Each machine was thoroughly tested under different programs and loads to ensure the best results were provided.
Equal amount of research and analysis was done to the chemicals and detergents used by Laundry Matic. The Laundry Group takes pride in only using the best available chemicals and detergents in the market. The Group tries to use only the most eco-friendly fabric care products.
Laundry Matic completed fit-out works in December 2011 and opened for commercial operation in January 2012. The facility was fitted with a 15 ton daily handling capacity using the latest available European made equipment. The fit-out was carried out using a fail-safe Noah’s ark approach where backup systems would activate should core equipment fail or get damaged. All articles are inspected pre and post processing to spot any imperfections or special requirements.
